In 2017 Tawnee graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Laws after receiving the Harry Perkins Scholarship in 2013 to study.
During her degree, Tawnee was selected to study four international intensive units at Ghent University in Belgium. Ghent University is one of the top 70 universities’ in the world for Law.
Tawnee enrolled into College of Law in March 2017 and completed her studies in October 2017 receiving a Diploma in Legal Practice. During College of Law, Tawnee worked as a law clerk at a family law firm in Perth CBD. On 15 December 2017 Tawnee was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia as a Legal Practitioner and began working as a Solicitor for the same firm.
Tawnee was a regular volunteer at Community Legal Centres each week and on 4 March 2019, Tawnee was admitted to the High Court of Australia.
Tawnee grew up in the Wheatbelt on a farm and loves returning home when possible. Tawnee plays various sports and particularly enjoys competitive netball.
