Amelia Davey
Head of Family Law

Amelia graduated from the University of Glamorgan in Wales, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Laws in 2005 and was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in March 2010 and is admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Western Australia.
Since joining Butlers in 2016 Amelia brings with her specialist expertise in dealing with complex children’s issues having formerly been an Accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Panel. Amelia believes in a constructive approach to family law matters. She is empathetic and understanding of the needs of her client’s and prides herself on her personal approach.

Elliot practices in Family Law, Wills & Estates Planning, and Contested Estates. He regularly represents clients in Court and as an advocate at Mediation.
Elliot is a current member of the Law Society of Western Australia and the Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia. He is a former President, Vice-President and Treasurer of the Murdoch Student Law Society and was also a Councillor for the Australian Law Students Association.

Tawnee Dickinson

In 2017 Tawnee graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Laws after receiving the Harry Perkins Scholarship in 2013 to study. During her degree, Tawnee was selected to study four international intensive units at one of the world’s top 70 universities’, Ghent University in Belgium.
In December 2017 Tawnee was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia as a Legal Practitioner. Tawnee is a regular volunteer at Community Legal Centres each week.

Sarah joined Butlers in March 2015 as a receptionist and quickly moved into the role of Law Clerk. Sarah has since completed her legal degree and is working towards being admitted as a lawyer. Sarah specialises in large matters and assists the solicitors as much as possible.

Sarah completed a double degree in Environmental Science and Marine Biology. Sarah has lived in Colorado and Hawaii and moved to Perth in 2013.
