Amelia graduated from the University of Glamorgan in Wales, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Laws in 2005 and was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in March 2010 and is admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Western Australia.
Since joining Butlers in 2016 Amelia brings with her specialist expertise in dealing with complex children’s issues having formerly been an Accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Panel. Daniel Rice

Daniel was admitted to legal practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2013. He completed his Bachelor of Laws at Edith Cowan University in 2012 and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law in 2013. He recently commenced a Masters of Applied Laws at College of Law with a double major in Wills and Estates and Family Law.

Daniel has extensive experience in Wills and Contested Estates and Family Law as well as considerable experience as a generalist in Contract Law, Criminal Law, Personal Injuries and Property Law. He regularly appears in the Magistrates Court, District Court and Supreme Court of Western Australia as well as Dispute Resolution forums.

With strong analytical and technical skills as well as being emotionally intuitive, Daniel takes a holistic approach to legal practice and is passionate about helping clients achieve practical outcomes to their legal issues with consideration of their personal, emotional, and financial situations.

Hugh Dahlitz

Hugh relocated to Perth and joined Butlers in 2021.

Hugh graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Laws in 2016 and obtained a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law in 2017. Shortly thereafter, Hugh was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Hugh worked as a solicitor in NSW, practicing in a variety of fields of law. Over the years Hugh refined the scope of his practice to Family Law, Property Law, and Wills and Estates Planning.

Hugh favors a practical approach to solving legal problems, and is a strong proponent of alternative dispute resolution such as mediation, conciliation, and arbitration to obtain cost-effective and sensible outcomes for clients.

In 2015, Rebecca graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts, and was awarded First Prize in Trial Advocacy. Rebecca was admitted to practice in 2016.

Prior to joining the team at Butlers, Rebecca was an associate at a national law firm and has previously worked in boutique firms where she had the benefit of working with senior members of the profession who have mentored and bestowed a wealth of knowledge upon her.

In addition to her family law knowledge, Rebecca is equipped with a background in criminal law and civil litigation which allows her to consider matters from a variety of perspectives.

Sarah completed a double degree in Environmental Science and Marine Biology. Sarah has lived in Colorado and Hawaii and moved to Perth in 2013.
