Amelia graduated from the University of Glamorgan in Wales, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Laws in 2005 and was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in March 2010 and is admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Western Australia.
Since joining Butlers in 2016 Amelia brings with her specialist expertise in dealing with complex children’s issues having formerly been an Accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Panel. Amelia believes in a constructive approach to family law matters. She is empathetic and understanding of the needs of her client’s and prides herself on her personal approach.

Elliot is a current member of the Law Society of Western Australia and the Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia. He is a former President, Vice-President and Treasurer of the Murdoch Student Law Society and was also a Councillor for the Australian Law Students Association.

Amanda graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Psychology in 2012, and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia on 7 November 2013.
Amanda joined the team at Butlers in March 2016, after working for a boutique family law practice and in the community legal sector.

Tawnee Dickinson

In 2017 Tawnee graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Laws after receiving the Harry Perkins Scholarship in 2013 to study. During her degree, Tawnee was selected to study four international intensive units at one of the world’s top 70 universities’, Ghent University in Belgium.
In December 2017 Tawnee was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia as a Legal Practitioner. Tawnee is a regular volunteer at Community Legal Centres each week.

Hayden graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Laws in 2017 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in April 2020. Prior to joining Butlers, Hayden practised for a boutique Family Law firm in Victoria Park. Hayden’s passion for legal practice lies in representing his clients in Court or during mediation. He is also a member of the Law Society of Western Australia.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Hayden worked as a banker for the NAB and ran a sole-trader business in guitar modifications and electronics. When Hayden is not working, he thoroughly enjoys playing guitar, hiking and diving.

Sarah Tyson

Sarah joined Butlers in March 2015 as a receptionist and quickly moved into the role of Law Clerk. Sarah has since completed her legal degree and is working towards being admitted as a lawyer. Sarah specialises in large matters and assists the solicitors as much as possible.

Sarah completed a double degree in Environmental Science and Marine Biology. Sarah has lived in Colorado and Hawaii and moved to Perth in 2013.

Tyler joined Butlers in March 2019. Tyler is currently studying his LLB degree at the University of Southern Queensland, with the view of graduating at the end of 2021. Tyler is passionate about helping those who are unable to help themselves. Tyler assists in all aspects of Family Law, Wills and Family Provision/Contested Estates.

Liam Collis

Liam started his studies at Curtin University before completing a Bachelor of Laws at Edith Cowan University early in 2021. Prior to joining Butlers, he volunteered at Burra-Robinson Family Lawyers in the Perth CBD where he was able to gain some valuable legal experience. He is aiming to complete his practical legal training and be admitted by mid-2021.

Outside of work and study, Liam is a massive sports fan, with AFL, cricket and golf just a few of his favourite sports. Liam also loves music, playing the guitar and piano in his free time.
