Amelia relocated to Perth to join Butlers in 2016. 

Amelia graduated from the University of Glamorgan in Wales, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Laws in 2005 and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Plymouth in 2008. After undertaking two years of in work training, Amelia was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in March 2010 and is admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Western Australia. 

Amelia brings with her specialist expertise in dealing with complex children’s issues having formerly been an Accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Panel. Amelia believes in a constructive and non- confrontational approach to family law matters. She is empathetic and understanding of the needs of her client’s and prides herself on her personal approach. 

Amelia has found that being qualified as a Legal Practitioner in both England and Wales and Western Australia has been invaluable when dealing with Relocation cases, where one party wishes to relocate to the UK with a child, or where a person is seeking access to a child living in the UK.
