Amanda Blake
Specialising in
Complex Family Law

Amanda was admitted to practice in 2013, having studied Law and Psychology.

In 2016, Amanda left a boutique family law practice to join Butlers, where she has become an integral part of our committed team.

Amanda’s practice extends to all areas of family law including property matters, Restraining Orders (Applicants and Respondents) and children matters. Amanda’s analytical thinking, understanding and empathy, together with her education, lend themselves to Amanda’s passion, assisting clients in relation to children matters arising from separation. From simple disputes, such as spend time arrangements, to complex legal issues, such as relocations, Amanda confidently assists our clients.

While Amanda is more than comfortable found on her feet in a Courtroom, she believes that our clients are better served by her using her experience and skills to achieve a fair and reasonable outcome amicably, through alternative methods of dispute resolution.

In 2020, Amanda was nominated as a council member for Family Law Practitioner’s Association of Western Australia and a workshop subcommittee member for Financial Toolbox, which involves her providing presentations on key aspects of Family Law.

Amanda is a member of Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Law Society of Western Australia.
