In 2017 Tawnee graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Laws after receiving the Harry Perkins Scholarship in 2013 to study. During her degree, Tawnee was selected to study four international intensive units at Ghent University in Belgium.  Ghent University is one of the top 70 universities’ in the world for Law.  On 15 Decem...ber 2017 Tawnee was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia as a Legal Practitioner and began working as a Solicitor for a Family Law firm. Tawnee grew up in the Wheatbelt on a farm and loves returning home when possible. Tawnee plays various sports and particularly enjoys competitive netball. More
Gemma graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Notre Dame in 2016 and joined Butlers as a Senior Law Clerk in December 2016. She then obtained her postgraduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law whilst understudying our Senior Lawyers at Butlers. Gemma was admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Western Australia... in October 2017. During her time as a law clerk, Gemma enjoyed working alongside our Senior Lawyers on complex property matters, including overseas assets, businesses and trusts. While at university, Gemma worked in the not-for-profit sector, supporting people with disabilities. She gained experience in boutique Family Law firms and volunteered at Law Access. Gemma was a rare graduate who was very passionate about Family Law from the beginning and uses this passion to develop excellent relationships with her clients. Gemma is particularly passionate about assisting those with special needs and mental health issues, either directly or indirectly. Outside of practice Gemma has a keen interest in sport and fitness as well as travelling. More
Amelia graduated from the University of Glamorgan in Wales, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Laws in 2005 and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Plymouth in 2008. Amelia was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales on the 1st March 2010 and became an accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Panel on th...e 1st June 2016. Amelia joined Butlers in August 2016 having relocated from the United Kingdom. Whilst she has not been admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Western Australia she had been involved in the area of Family Law for over 7 years. More

Sarah joined Butlers in March 2015 and is a very experienced Senior Law Clerk. Sarah specialises in large matters and assists the solicitors with complex legal issues. Sarah has previous legal experience from her work in the United States and has lived in Colorado and Hawaii prior to moving to Perth in 2013. Sarah has a double degree in E...nvironmental Science and Marine Biology.  Sarah also hopes to undertake her Bachelor of Laws in the very near future.  Sarah is passionate about the ocean and loves all things outdoors. More
